Andrews Announces Primary Bid for County Legislature Seat
Saturday, May 7th - There will be a Democratic Party primary for the MonroeCounty Legislature in the 21st District. Carrie Andrews, a Labor Relations Specialist with New York State United Teachers, will kick off her campaign today for the 21sst District legislative seat, which will bevacated by Chris Wilmot when his term expires at the end of the year.
Andrews intends to draw on her professional experience as an advocate for working families whilefocusing on job creation, healthy neighborhoods, and responsive county services. “This district needs alegislator with the experience necessary to tackle our community’s challenges,” says Andrews. “I have a proven record of delivering the living wages, health care benefits, and quality representation that manyfamilies lack.”
Andrews will make her formal announcement today at the Information kiosk at the Union Street entranceof the Rochester Public Market at 11:30 AM.
