MONDAY, 25 JULY, ROCHESTER, NY -- Carrie Andrews, candidate for the 21st Monroe County Legislature seat currently held by Republican Chris Wilmot, has been endorsed by District Council One of the United Foodand Commercial Workers.

The Union represents workers at the Tops grocery store on N. Winton Road which is in the 21st District.

This is another in a long string of endorsements for Andrews which includes:

“I am very honored to have received this endorsement,” said Andrews. “Having working families stand behind me in this election is very important to me. Particularly because of the emphasis we need to place in this campaign on job retention and creation. I know that with the support of folks likes those from District Council One of the UFCW, we can only help make our neighborhoods better.”

Andrews is running in the Democratic Primary on September 13th and has the endorsement of the Independence Party as well as the Working Families Party.
